Happy summer vacation! 
Here are the details for our 7th and 8th grade summer reading projects.
7th Grade:
Hello new seventh graders! For this year's summer reading project, you may choose from the following novels:
- Full Cicada Moon by Marilyn Hilton
- The Inquisitor's Tale: Or Three Magical Children and their Holy Dog by Adam Gidwitz
- Lizzie Bright and the Buckminster Boy by Gary D. Schmidt
You will be creating a file folder book report on the book you choose. The materials to complete this project can be found here. You will need a physical copy of these documents to complete the project. Please email me if you have any questions! I will be posting videos to help you understand the assignment and having Zoom office hours. The dates and times of these are to be determined.
8th Grade:

- I Kill the Mockingbird by Paul Acampora
- As Brave as You by Jason Reynolds
- Echo by Pam Munoz Ryan
You will be writing an essay responding to the following prompt: "How does the main character change over the course of your chosen novel?" The materials to complete this project can be found here. You must complete and submit all of the activities in this project. Please email me if you have any questions! I will be posting videos to help you understand the assignment and having Zoom office hours. The dates and times of these are to be determined.
